Being Thankful

We all know that this is the week of Thanksgiving. As a society, we really do have a lot to be thankful for. This is very true of wedding couples. I have said it many times that it takes a village to see one couple married. It is the work of the caterer, the DJ, the bakery, the gown specialist, the jewelry store, the venue coordinator, etc. to help your wedding day be everything that you envision.

If you think that you can pull off a successful wedding by yourself, think again. All the perfect planning in the world doesn't foresee the circuit breaker tripping, the ring bearer getting sick on mints, traffic jams, or the millions of other things that can happen in an ordinary life. But when we all work together, perfection can be achieved.

So this week (as it should be every week), take some time to let your bridal party and family know how grateful you are for their wedding help. Let your caterer know that you appreciate their expert service, your florist for their extra touches here and there. But most importantly, let each other know how much you love and appreciate the support that you are giving each other as you get closer to your celebration day.
