Finding Vendors for your wedding

Finding reliable vendors for your wedding services and products is sometimes not an easy task. You think you have found one, you give them a deposit, then sit and wait for them to perform as promised. You hope and pray that on your one and only wedding day your vendors will rise to the occasion and your wedding will indeed be flawless.

Most of the times, wedding vendors will perform as planned and sometimes over and above as asked. But you know that old saying, "One bad apple...."

Here are some questions that you should arm yourself with when interviewing wedding suppliers. It is also a good idea to interview at least three vendors in each category that you need; then you will be able to compare pricing, personalities, and services. After all, this is your special day---don't leave it to chance.

· Make sure to note their personalities: When you meet with them, do you feel a friction back
and forth or are they easy to get along with?
· Do they mind if you make suggestions or is it their way or no way?
· Are they flexible or does it seem like you are pulling teeth to get them to make any
changes?
· Do they return your phone calls in a timely manner?
· Is their office environment reasonably professional and organized?
· Do they treat you with professional courtesy?
· Do they make you feel at ease and welcome your questions?
· Are they willing to change things to better accommodate your special day’s needs?
· Are they willing to go the extra mile for your business?
· Are they willing to customize or make suggestions to better fit your style and needs?
· Is their equipment state-of-the-art, or at very least, up-to-date with today’s technology?
· Do their ideas seem innovative and fresh or is this just another routine event to them?
· Do they seem happy and interested to retain your business and fulfill your needs?
· Do they seem to know what they are talking about?
