Green is the new Wedding

Many brides ask me what they can do to have a "green" wedding.
Being aware of our carbon footprint is always a good idea, especially at special events since there can tend to be a lot of waste.

Following up with your guests can cut down on wasted food and favors as well as linens and other tableware. This all means using less water, laundry, etc.

Borrowing a vehicle instead of renting a gas-guzzling Hummer Limousine not only saves you money, but reduces carbon emissions let into the air.

The Green Life from the Sierra Club has this to say about Green Weddings: Every engaged couple wants their wedding day to be a special celebration that reflects who they are and what they care about. Going green is a great way to make the festivities unique and meaningful--and show friends and family just how fun, beautiful, and delicious a sustainable lifestyle can be. 10 steps to a green wedding
