Holiday colors

What colors do you think would be great for a holiday wedding?  It is such a beautiful time of the year that it seems a shame not to use some color combinations that are so popular.

If blue and silver seem to be your choice, then you are not alone.  This is a very popular winter wedding palate and it is beautiful.  An icy blue combined with the sparkle of silver is glamorous and chic.  White flowers definitely work well with this scheme.

Maybe you are a traditionalist and red and green seem the natural choice.    Many ceremony and reception venues will already be decorated with these colors, so you would have built-in decor.

Maybe a "starry night" theme is what you have in mind.  After all, nothing is more romantic than gazing up at the stars while a soft snow falls.  One of my couples themed their wedding with this motif and it was beautiful.

Gold and silver are also a good choice for a winter winter wedding.  Gold is a warm color and almost always makes everything seem richer and more opulent, while the silver gives your event the sparkle that so many brides want.  Don't be afraid to mix these two metals together.

Whatever winter combination that you choose, make it personal and unique for your event.  Maybe you have something else in mind?  We would love to hear about it and if you share pictures, we will post them for our audience.
