2011 Pantone Color Winner

Since the announcement of 15-5519 Turquoise, Pantone's 2010 color of the year, has there not been so much buzz about a color choice. Until this year's color winner:

My goodness! Decoraters, wedding enthusiasts, fashion designers and more are really getting excited for this beautiful splash of softness.
Pantone groupies are excited with the color's description: Energizing Honeysuckle lifts spirits and imparts confidence to meet life’s ongoing challenges. A Color for All Seasons. Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day — with nothing “everyday” about it.
I have to agree that this is indeed a beautiful color and I can't wait to see what comes from other wedding designers and florists.

I am already seeing this color playing off of bolder, stronger elements. I could plan an entire wedding from these pictures found on HGTV.  It is true that fashion follows design and design follows fashion.  Weddings combine both.

I love the pop of Honeysuckle with the Tiffany blue and black!

But the Spring Green and Honeysuckle with just a smidge of Yellow in these two pictures are breathtaking!
