Table Settings = Creative + Flea Markets

There is no reason why you should have to settle for plain white plates at your wedding or the same old mirrored tiles with a votive candle.  I have said it before, but the magic for an event is in the details.   Scouring flea markets and your families' cupboards are great ways to bring your personality and style into your wedding day.  It's okay if all the plates don't match or have a small chip on the underside.  Your guests won't be looking at the imperfections, but rather the individuality and love that you brought to the day.

Think outside the box for your decor.  Are you a book-lover?  Then decorating with old tomes and personal mementos creates a personal and initmate decor that your guests will long remember.  Perhaps you have a love of travel?  Anything that connects your guests with your personal spirit always creates a more loving environment.  Your guests have come to celebrate with the two of you; they want to share in your lives together.   Using your grandmother's wedding china is a great way to celebrate how special she is to you, even though she may be attending only in spirit.  Don't have enough for the entire guest list?  That's okay, just use what you have for the head table or family tables.   These are lovely pictures that make we wish I was the guest!
