Happy Love Day, Lovelies! Even though every day is a great day for Love, Valentine's Day is the day that is set aside to remind us to celebrate love with an outward showing, not just feel it. Valentine's Day is not only about cards, flowers and candy, but more about how much we care for the other person; to let them know how special they are in our lives.
As a kid in grade school, we exchanged these silly pieces of paper, you remember - the ones that had Super Heros or Scooby Doo, or a homemade heart out of red construction paper. Our teachers would remind us that we had to bring a card for each classmate, not just "those special ones" as every classmate was special and needs our attention. So we would beg our moms for a box of special paper notes that we could scribble down our love and undying friendship forever. Some of our classmates received the "Love" notes and some of them received the "Friends Forever" but the point was that everyone in the class received a missive that told them they were special and important.
Today, my wish for all of you is that you find love wherever you are and in whatever your circumstances. My Valentine Card is a beautiful setting from a favorite blog of mine - Camille Styles. It has everything to get you in the romantic spirit. It is my gift to you today to remind you that you are very important to me.
