Real Weddings | Nick & Julie

In a word, Nick and Julie's wedding photos are stunning!  We love the photos in the field, especially with the bride and groom in the adorable upholstered chair - what a fabulous idea!  And, of course, the night shots are gorgeous!  Thanks so much to Carrie Geno from Geno Photography for sharing these photos with us!  We never grow weary of looking at amazing wedding photography!

"On August 4th, I headed down to Bloomfield, Iowa for the wedding of Nick and Julie.  The ceremony was held at Nick's family farm, a simply gorgeous backdrop for both pictures and the ceremony.  After Julie finished getting ready, we began formal pictures with her, her family, and her bridesmaids.  In the pasture next to the ceremony area stood a large tree that made for an amazing location for pictures.  After we finished with the girls, we hid Julie away so Nick couldn't see her until the ceremony, then the guys came out for their pictures.  

The ceremony was lovely, with close friends and family in attendance.  Afterward, we finished the formal session.  We again headed to the pasture beside the ceremony area, but not to the tree this time.  Instead, the clouds had rolled in, creating some dreamy soft lighting, so I photographed Nick and Julie in the grassy field,  I love how they turned out!

After the photos, we headed to their reception at the Bloomfield Country Club.  It was a quiet and intimate gathering.  The toasts were beautiful.  After the first dance, I stole Nick and Julie from the reception for a few minutes to take a few photos on the golf course.  I adore the night shots.  Nick and Julie are simply stunning."
