Megan Erickson had picked out her dream gown at Pure Bridal, and had put a $100 down on her dress, but her fiance was then injured on the job, and decided they could no longer afford their wedding. However she then attended a friend's 32nd birthday, and her friend asked the attendees to do 32 acts of kindness, so she asked Pure Bridal to put the $100 towards the next girl who ordered her dress.
Pure Bridal was so inspired by Megan and her story they decided to 'pay it forward.' They talked to several wedding vendors in the area and put together a dream wedding for Megan and her fiance. Megan was asked to be a model in the bridal fashion show, but the show was stopped while she on the runway to tell her what had been planned, and WHOTV 13 News was there to capture the surprise.
