Wedding Inspirations | Glamelias

We are so in love with Glamelias! What is a Glamelia, you ask? A Glamelia is a composite wedding bouquet that resembles 1 giant flower. The bouquet is created by taking petals from many flowers and gluing them to a special form to create 1 unique bloom. If you are looking for a unique bouquet that will be sure to wow your guests, the Glamelia is just that!

Wedding Inspirations | Marquee Letters

Vintage marquee lights are any typography and glittery light lover's dream, which is why we adore these lights! Marquee lights make an exquisite, glittery backdrop for photos, dessert buffets or reception venues. Take a look at some of our favorite lights and a tutorial to make your own!

Green Wedding Shoes has a great tutorial to make your own marquee light using paper mache letters. You could also use unfinished wood letters for a sturdier, more permanent option. Happy crafting!

Real Weddings | 100 Layer Cake - Neon Chicago Wedding

We think this urban modern wedding with pops of bright, neon colors is absolutely adorable and so unique! Grays and metals really complimented the neon color scheme nicely and the DIY elements tied everything together. We just love that guests showered the couple in neon pom-poms, how fun!

Wedding Inspirations | Ombre Love

Ombre is a hot wedding trend right now and we think it is here to stay! We love the versatility of this color motif and the dramatic color contrast it creates. Ombre is showing up at weddings in bridesmaid dresses, flowers and invitations. Here are our favorite ombre wedding inspiration photos.

DIY Project | String Heart Art

We love DIY wedding projects! When we found this DIY string art tutorial from Green Wedding Shoes, we knew we had to share it with you! We love the string heart but this tutorial would look great with an ampersand, your new last names or your wedding date. The possibilities are endless and this would make a great conversation piece to have in your home after your special day!

Materials Needed:

  • piece of wood - the bigger the more dramatic!
  • string - we used pink neon thin rope you can find at Home Depot, but you could use any yarn or string
  • box of nails (you want a nail with a decent head so the string won't pop off)
  • spray paint or stain for the wood
  • white paper to draw the heart on
Step 1: Spray paint the wood the background color you picked. We used dark gray so the pink would really pop
Step 2: Once the paint is dry, tape the wood with white paper and draw the heart shape on the paper
Step 3: Time to get the hammer out! Nail around the entire outline of the heart - we spaced our nails about an inch apart
