We love Sundays! They are perfect for making a cup of coffee and relaxing with your favorite blog. Of course, we are a little prejudice, especially when we have a gorgeous wedding from Geno Photography to share with you! But let's be honest. we are suckers for a romantic story told in beautiful pictures any day of the week!
I had so much fun with Dan and Stanzy at their wedding in mid-October. Their wedding and reception were both held at the beautiful University Club in Iowa City. I loved the gorgeous light on the deck area. It made for a wonderful spot for the formal portraits.
After sunset, I headed out to the columns in front of the University Club with Stanzy and Dan. While Stanzy and Dan chatted and got a minute to themselves, I got some amazing shots of them interacting. I love these moments; the moments where I am capturing their interactions, their love.

The formal portraits
were a lot of fun. Dan and Stanzy, as well as their bridal party, are full of
personality and were a blast to photograph. I loved Stanzy's green hair! Not
only was it fun and funky, I think it was also gorgeous and truly showed her
personality. We had so much fun with some non-traditional bridal party
portraits, doing takes on "album cover" shots, a tribute to "Abbey Road" and
"Reservoir Dogs," of course the "Bridesmaids" shot, and many other fun
shots.
