Today's wedding comes to us from a relatively new photographer to WeddingsinIowa.com: Micah Ray Photography . Micah's business is actually located in Platteville, WI, but he will travel to surrounding states to take beautiful pictures. We thought that this celebration was a great way to start the week!

"Cody and Jesse Esser are the kind of couple every photographer
hopes to shoot. Fun, energetic, and easy going. Since the groom works as a DJ,
the wedding went with a music theme and one of the most memorable events was
when Jesse sang to her husband to be, Cody, during the ceremony. I don't think
there was a dry eye in the entire place! The reception was a wonderful event, with some great touches,
including CD's with tea lights as center pieces.....the music and light show were amazing! The venue....had a
beautiful field to capture the sunset!"

Great post! My name is Cody and I was the groom in this wedding. Jessie and I were so happy to have Micah as our photographer. He was very professional throughout the day but never cheesy or over the top. Being a very un-photogenic person, he did an amazing job capturing all of the emotions from the day. Some were very somber and others full of fun and excitement. I remember distinctly Micah telling us, "you'll thank me later" during some of the outdoor shots, (it was very humid that day)and boy was he right! Over the course of the next week he posted previews of some of the pictures that he took and each day was like Christmas morning. He is such a talented and genuine person that I refer him to all of my clients when I meet them for dj consultations. I couldn't be happier with Micah Ray Photography!
Cody said it better than I ever could, but if love Micah's work! His work really shows his love for photography.
