Keeping track of emails

When you are planning any event and dealing with multiple vendors, it is a good idea to get into the habit of keeping a copy of all correspondence with those vendors. You never know when someone may forget what they promised until an email or receipt is dug up as proof.

I have one such very smart bride who looked back through her emails for just such a promise from a vendor. We have been struggling with this vendor from the get go anyway. They are well known in town, but very dishonest about their dealings and one must really watch their back with them. Had I caught the bride in time, we would have gone somewhere else entirely, but be that as it may, she will have an absolutely beautiful wedding because she did her due diligence.

Kudos to her for keeping her emails, receipts and staying on top of the vendor to hold them to their promise.
