Happy Halloween!

Here's a themed wedding that one couple did a couple of years back. Talk about getting into the spirit of the day!

Tim and Luann wanted to give their guests a real Halloween experience on their wedding day since they were both fond of the scary holiday. Their invitations arrived in a black box. Once the lids were removed, the invitations themselves were covered with a fake spider web and spider.

After arriving at a centralized parking place, the guests were escorted to the ceremony on a hay rack with bales of straw(covered with brown felt pads) and pumpkins.

After the ceremony (candlelight, mums, and carved pumpkins), everyone walked through a haunted tunnel into the reception room decorated with ivory draping in the shape of cobwebs, more carved pumpkins, candles, fall leaves, flowers and towering scarecrows.

The band was dressed in costume and the buffet was laid out on coffins. There was a S'more and hot chocolate station set up as well as every guest receiving a caramel apple for their take home gift.

Their wedding is still being talked about today as original, most fun, elegant (yes, carved pumpkins can be lovely), and one that the guests did not want to leave. Most of all, the couple interacted with their guests all evening. It was the perfect Halloween!
