The holidays and catching up

I have taken a few days to try and catch up while still trying to embrace the holidays. You would think that this would be a slow time of the year, but it doesn't seem to be that way. Brides are calling, I am making (and breaking appointments courtesy of the weather), revamping web sites, working on bridal shows and generally taking care of business.

It is the meeting of brides and their grooms that I enjoy the most. I love hearing their plans for their wedding events, love getting to know their story and what defines their style. Working within their budgets and ideas are challenging and that is the excitement for me. Taking a simple idea and turning it into an event that will remain in every one's memories is what we do best.

Wedding events are as varied as the couples that get married. Outdoor weddings, indoor, country club, park shelters; they all have their own certain charm and ambiance. But the basics of the perfect wedding stay the same--good food, good entertainment, and a hearty thank you and we are glad you are here is all it takes for memories and love to abound at any event.
