I recently have been reading up on weddings and their costs in different cities across the United States. I think that as a whole, we should feel very fortunate that we live in such a generous state that features great food at great prices.
I know that handing over $25.99 ++ for a meal is sometimes hard to handle, but try writing the check for the same amount of guests in New York at $150++ per person! And that is on the low end of the budget. If you want to add in some bells and whistles, try $350++ per person!
Florida isn't any better and in California? Yep--same thing. Chicago comes in a little better at $99.++ to $150++, but overall, Iowa is a great place to get married. No wonder I have more and more couples from out of state coming to get married in Iowa.
