Bright Colors = Big Style

So many brides are afraid of bright colors for their wedding. I have lots of weddings that are black and red, silver and gold, but what happened to the other colors in the rainbow? Why are we so afraid to go outside our comfort zone and really wow our guests? We don't wear black and red every day, so why should your wedding look the same from event to event?

I will admit that some people are afraid that the colors that they choose will clash, but in a day and age of almost every hue under the sun, that really should not be your holding back point.

Choose a color according to what you like, not the color of the bridesmaids' dresses. Instead of trying to match them, why not have their dresses match your palette? Instead of staying with the tried and true and "everyone is doing this this year," how about mixing hues for a spectrum of color?

Need inspiration---it is as close as your nearest paint store! Stop in any hardware store that carries paint and grab paint color swatches. Now start playing. Don't be afraid to color outside the lines and choose more than two colors; how about four or five?
