As in all things, it is good to take a step back and take a break from planning any event so that you can approach it with fresh eyes and start anew. Kind of like that old adage, "You can't see the forest for the trees...." Well, that is true for event planning. I often tell my couples to take a break, go on a date, don't talk about the wedding for at least a week when one of the couples seems extremely stressed out about the upcoming nuptials or the tasks of planning seem to be a bit overwhelming.
We can get so involved with the planning, the vendors, the venues, the guests, the timelines, and the have-to's, that we forget exactly why we are doing this in the first place! Maybe a mini-vacation is in order. Since it is so cold outside, here is a picture to warm your hearts, courtesy of

Now here's a place that I could forget about anything and relax! Okay, so maybe we forget the wedding and elope? --Just kidding!
