Cake, Cake and More Cake

Who doesn't love cake? Chocolate, cherry, vanilla, strawberry, caramel; every flavor you can imagine has been featured in a cake. Upside down, frosted, sugared, poked and filled, cake is still the number one dessert served at a wedding. And why not? It is tradition. A time-honored way to share your good taste with friends and family.

Wedding cakes are not inexpensive. Couples can spend thousands of dollars on these tasty creations, so it doesn't make sense to regulate them to a corner of the room where your guests don't see them. Let them shine - in the middle of the room- in the middle of your dance floor - where they belong. Make a huge photo op out of the art of cutting cake. We are not talking about shoving pieces of flour and sugar into each other's faces, this is never appropriate. What we are encouraging is seizing the moment to cut a slice, maybe with your grandparent's wedding set, and feeding each other the confection that you took months to decide on.

Perfect and celebrate the art of eating cake!
