Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a great lover of all things paper. Books, Postcards, Letters [yes, I keep all my letters in an old box], bits and scraps of stamps and anything with vintage photos. Paper is a great way to add interest and a vintage flair to any event. Invitations, Menu Cards, Escort Cards, Thank You's and so much more.

How Lucky can you get?
This is the cutest idea! Lotus Moments, a premier wedding stationery company in Des Moines sent me the cutest idea yet for a Save The Date Card - a scratch off! How cute is this for your guests to receive? It would instantly set the tone for a fun time!
Lotus Moments is all about helping couples celebrate their love in ways that are as one of a kind as their romance. Lydia and Tanner won the Wedding Jackpot with their lottery ticket style Save the Date postcard. Imagine your guests having to “scratch off” the hearts to reveal your wedding day. A unique and fun idea that really sets the tone for a celebration of love. How lucky can you be? Not luck, Lotus Moments! Call Renatta at 515-333-4626 for this and other one of a kind ideas for your wedding or any event!
Lotus Moments is located at 1631 East Aurora Ave in Des Moines, IA 50313

Postcards to the rescue
Need a great guest sign - in idea? I love the postcard project. This is where a bride and groom choose new, stamped, pre-addressed postcards to place at the sign in table or at the social hour. (Make sure to supply plenty of pens!) Your guests will write their well wishes on the card and drop them into a large glass bowl, box, or other enclosed vessel. The postcards are collected at the end of the evening and then mailed the next day to the Newlyweds. These cards should arrive at the couples' new home just as they arrive back from their honeymoon. What a wonderful welcome home!
Your postcards can be vintage, real photos, pictures of pets, hobbies, your town, family, foreign ports of call, or other images. The whole idea of this project is to have fun, while interjecting some of your personal style.
