I must have a lot to say as today's posting is in duo...

Our company strives to deliver premier service for anything that we do.  Apparently, we are in good company.  I am a great lover of anything from Colin Cowie as he epitomizes professionalism and elegance.  I couldn't help but share his philosophy for style.  Weddings aren't just events, they are the start of something wonderful!

True style has nothing to do with the designer clothes you wear, the timepiece on your wrist, or the car that you drive or your zip code. True style is a sense of self, a confidence and graciousness that is evident to everyone you come into contact with. It's about how you conduct yourself; behaving with consideration and respect toward others. Your wedding isn't just another party; it's an opportunity to make a statement of style to your friends and family, as individuals and as a couple, to be the consummate host and hostess.
Don't keep your guests waiting more than 15 minutes after invitation time to start the ceremony, make sure there is heat and air conditioning if needed, shade from the sun and umbrellas in case of rain. Ensure vegetarian and kosher meals are provided for those that need, personalized welcome notes in the rooms of your out of town guests, and proper amenities in the bathrooms.

There are so many ways to make your guests feel welcome, even though the focus is on you, be gracious, considerate and conscious of your guests at all times. By making every single guest as welcome and as comfortable as possible you'll be setting a true example of what style really means.

I find inspiration in most everything....

I am sure that there is a room in this building just begging for a wedding celebration!

I am sure that there is a wedding cake hidden in here somewhere...

I am positive that there is a wedding bouquet here just waiting to be made....

Beauty in several forms

Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event.  It is a time to show your own unique personalities and style.  It is not a time to buy into the hype that you have to have everything under the sun that many "wedding experts" say you need for a perfect day.   Sometimes less is more.  Here are some examples of unique style, fun events, done up in a way that made the couples' wedding their very own.   Remember, that if you are a gracious, loving host and hostess; that you kiss and hug and love your guests;  if you smile and have a great time yourself - your guests will remember your wedding as the "best wedding they have ever been to!"

Love these boards!

Finding inspiration for your wedding can come from all over. Thank goodness, there is an amazing cache of professionals in the wedding world at the ready to give ideas whenever. I love these wedding idea boards found at www.projectwedding.com. The yellow stained glass window above makes a natural focal point for any wedding as does the black and white damask fabric below.
Don't be afraid to mix textures and elements to find your style.
The teal pumps below would be adorable peaking out from a champagne -colored wedding dress.
Dare to be different and show off your personality!
