Wedding Inspirations | Vintage Carnival Wedding Shoot

With the Iowa State Fair having just kicked off a few days ago, we have been thinking a lot about carnival weddings! We came across the most beautiful, whimsical stylized shoot from Hostess with the Mostess Blog and new we must share it in honor of 2013 State Fair. We love the vibrant color palette, vintage details and think the flower girl and ring bearer are just adorable!

Love this color combination!

My latest bride was a sweetheart with a great eye for the fun and different. Janelle loves the combination of red and aqua as you can tell here.


They were married outside in the amphitheater behind the rose garden. This is a beautiful spot to be married in! Even the rain cooperated for a little while. Next, it was onto the Science Center in downtown Des Moines for dinner and dancing. Even though the set up has to be completed in less than 55 minutes, it is a funky and fun place to treat your guests.

And of course, I can't forget the cake! Love the groom's cake! Sweetest Perfections did the honors, so I know it was delicious as well as adorable!!
