I am asked many times by brides how they can make their wedding special; different from their sister's wedding, their cousin's, etc. There are many ways to stylize a wedding to tell your unique story. One of them is to create a Family Memory Table.
A Family Memory Table is a display of your family's portraits that you create for your guest's to view. It consists of wedding, engagement, growing-up photographs and more. You collect them from your side of the family as well as your fiance's side, label them with beautiful calligraphy or printed tent cards that give a little description of the people in the photo and display them on an heirloom tablecloth. You can decorate the table with your bouquet, memorial candles, or other family keepsakes.
Displaying these treasures always makes your guests smile and feel closer to the wedding couple because it gives them a glimpse into their lives. Place pictures in a generation line-up; including candid snapshots for a real-life story to tell. The frames can be all matching, or not. The point is to tell a story of the love that you have with your families.
