We love it when Photographers send us pictures of their weddings; it gives us another glimpse into the world of love from many perspectives. Carrie, from Geno Photography has a beautiful perspective. She loves love and seeing the world through her lens gives us a passion for that feeling as well.

Wedding Inspirations | Monochrome
There is nothing more timeless and elegant than a gorgeous, black and white wedding. Monochrome wedding gowns were a hit on the runway this Spring with Vera Wang and Maggie Sottero. While forecasting wedding trends for the coming year can be tricky at best, this trend is always in good taste and in style!

Ashley

If you are looking for inspiration for draping your Ceremony or Reception venue, consider using two colors for a beautiful contrast. Black and white were paired here for this elegant Reception Dinner. As you can see, it is absolutely a stunner!

Hollywood Glamour
We have two weddings this weekend. Each bride and their family are the sweetest and fun to work with. As it happens, each bride is also very much into Hollywood glamour, glitz and elegance.

Our first bride loves the Wizard of Oz.
Between the ostrich feather centerpieces (Hollywood glam), ruby-red sparkle ball centerpieces, turquoise tied bouquets and an exquisite dance pavilion for their first dance, we are going to have fun!

{Sorry for the bad picture. I scanned it in from the back of a book that the bride gave me. - At least you get the idea!}
We are using turquoise feathers!
Our second bride is very much into black and white and damask. Love this combination! Between the hanging chandeliers, beautiful white draping, trellis work that her father created and crystal candle holders, this wedding is certainly to be one that no one will forget, especially since it is by a lake side!

DIY
I was a do-it-yourselfer today. I had a little extra time and thought that I would have fun creating for Saturdays' upcoming wedding. I have a sweet bride and groom, very beautiful people and am excited to see Saturday unfold for them.Their colors are black, white, silver and red. I took a tall glass cylinder and banded the top with a wide silver color, then took a smaller band in the middle of that with some black ribbon and a rhinestone buckle. I am totally loving the contrast and bling factor. I will top the entire thing with a white rose bouquet; surround it with crystal candlelight and listen for the oohs and ahhs. We will use black tablecloths, red chargers, white napkins and lots of candelight. They have white boxes tied up with red ribbon as their favors. Cute!

Come to think of it, this is the second week in a row I have had a black and white color scheme wedding. I have several this year-the combination is very popular. You find it from Interior Design to invitations, escort cards, and tablescaping. It is always a smart and chic palette to use. Any color thrown in will look good and give you a pop and fun vibe.
