Undoubtedly, there will be holiday weddings this weekend and next. And why not? It is a great time to get the entire family together for a festive celebration and what greater time of the year to share with friends?  Keeping in mind that most venues and churches are decorated for the season,  finding décor for your event is easy.  Whether plaid, traditional red and green or unconventional sparkle and lights, this is truly a magical time of the year!

The Month of December

December has always been a special month for me.  As a child, I looked forward to Christmas and the holiday school break.  As a parent, I loved sharing the true meaning of Christmas with my children as well as the chaos on Christmas Day!  As a friend, it it the art of gift giving; and as a Wedding Planner, it is the love of the colors and festive excitement that gets the creative juices flowing.

December Weddings don't always have to be about green and red.  Blues, golds, eggplant, rich browns and jewel tones also bring the holidays to life.  It is also a good to incorporate family traditions as this is the time of year that we so often get together with our family and friends.   However you style your wedding, make it your own, be creative and above all, celebrate the reason for the season!
