Great Photographers are all around

Iowa is very blessed to have great photographers! Our early June wedding ceremony took place at the Living History Farms Church. This couple chose Erik Notz from Inspired Images as their photographer and I think they made a great choice. He has promised to send me some pics of the wedding and you know that I will share them with you as soon as they cross my desk.

Artsy Photos

I love the kind of photos that really tell a story without really being anything. Know what I mean? I think they are called "artsy photos." I am always trying to think of ways for my brides and grooms to incorporate these shots into their day.

For instance, I have a bride telling me that her church and reception venue are only three blocks away. I am immediately thinking of all the great shots her photographer can capture while she is walking back and forth. Forget the transportation and take advantage of the great photo opportunities. Those are just the type of award-winning pictures we see in magazines and on posters.

We always ohh and aww over them and think about how dreamy and romantic and beautiful the couple looks in THOSE shots. Why can't that be you?
