Did you know that Vintage Love Rentals is not only a place to rent your event items, Des Moines' newest event venue and host The Preferred Vintage Flea Market, but it is also the place where beautiful home décor begins. Introducing "Vintage Love Home!"

We think that homes should be curated over time; rooms filled with items from travels, evidence of hobbies, loves and great ideas. In other words, homes should be a reflection of the occupants who live there.  But how do you get there?  What goes where, how do you combine two households, what if I don't have money for all the fancy "stuff?" That is where Vintage Love Home can help. We have been decorating homes and events for over 38 years and would love to help you create the perfect place you can call "home."

 

The weekend business

Our weekends around here are not typical.  They are usually catch up days, fix it days, do the emails days and try to find a few minutes to put your feet up days. In short, they go by very fast.

This past weekend was our first vintage rentals from the warehouse; Vintage Love, rentals and annessi.  We were excited to be a part of the couple's style and personal spirit.  What was more exciting was to hear that the wedding went well and guests loved the furniture and fun accessories; great memories for the couple to share with their guests!

For one price, you can take anything you want [as much as you want!] out of the warehouse; tables, chairs, centerpieces, votives, chandeliers, furniture, accessories, dishes, glassware; the list goes on.   We are always finding new items to add.  Today, we found another great chair, archetectural collumns, an old vintage child's school desk, a fantastic rustic bar, and more.

Wedding Inspirations | Vintage Love

It is official, the warehouse - Vintage Love, rentals and annessi - is open and ready for business!  We have been working hard shopping, arranging, more shopping, designing, building and more arranging.  The catalog is almost finished, the contract being fine tuned and appointments are being made.  In fact, we have had two clients sign up already and more coming to see the "stuff" that their wedding dreams are made of.

Seriously, we have a lot of "stuff!"  Maybe we should have called the business, "Rent my Stuff," because you name it, we probably have it.  Books, baskets, bottles, chandeliers, tables, chairs, upholstered furniture, more furniture, vases, boxes, industrial, modern.... oh my!  The girls, Sylvia, Lucy and Viviene attended a grand affair a couple of weeks ago and had a great time......

By the way, annessi is Italian for "one thing and another."  While we aren't Italian [we do love Italian food - does that count?], we decided that the word described perfectly what we have; one thing and then another, another, another and then more.  The best part?  Everything in the warehouse is yours for one price; you take whatever you want for $895.00.  We will deliver your goodies wherever you want or you can pick it up at the warehouse for even more savings.
