Engagement Photos | Geno Photography

We love love - whether in wedding photos, or in engagement photos, and these adorable photos are no exception.  We love the chemistry in this gorgeous couple, the great colors in the photos, and we completely agree with Carrie Geno from Geno Photography (who took these photos), that the vintage blue chair is perfect addition! {And, how great is that red door?!}

"At the end of October, I met up at the Ped Mall with Dan and Stanzy for their engagement session.  We started our session by stopping by the Yacht Club, where Dan proposed.  Then we headed around the alleyways in the Ped Mall.  They lend themselves to portraits so well as amazing backdrops.

Dan and Stanzy were great during their session.  So fun and had great interactions.  I love the moments when I just tell couples to snuggle in together and they roll with it.  I think that's something many people forget to do, relax and be themselves.  Dan and Stanzy definitely were, despite being self professed nervous about the portrait session.

After the Ped Mall, we headed to the grassy field beside the Iowa City Dog Park.  With the sun back-lighting it, the field was glowing.  I love the blue chair they brought with them.  It was a perfect addition to the setting.  

I am looking forward to their October 2013 wedding.  I'm sure it will be just as fun as their engagement session, if not more!"

Engagement Pictures | Kate and David

I am working with an adorable couple for a spring wedding this year. Kate and David are a spunky couple that have a great sense of style and fun.  With a color palette of purple/yellow/silver/ivory, their wedding is sure to be beautiful.  Their photographer, Drescher Photo and Design, took their engagement pictures and if these are any indication of what's to come, their wedding will be spectacular!
