Wedding Inspiration | First Look

One of our jobs as an event planner is to help you with your timeline and think about the flow of your day, and a "first look" with your photographer is sometimes helpful to make everything effortless. If you are unfamiliar, it's the moment you and your soon-to-be-husband/wife see each other for the first time before officially walking down the aisle. It takes a little bit of the pressure off, instead of having that moment in front of all your guests. One of our Preferred Vendors, Carrie Geno from Geno Photography, wrote to us about this very topic this summer here. While we know that traditionally, brides and grooms have avoided this, these adorable first look series may sway your opinion.

Real Weddings | Maren & Theodore, Part I

Last month, we were absolutely delighted to work with Maren and Theodore. They met taking a ballroom dance class just for fun, started competing in dance compititions together, and ended up falling in love with each other - it was meant to be! You could say, they will dance off into the sunset together....... in fact, they entered the reception room in perfect ballroom form! To add little something special to their wedding day, they had a dance instructor for anyone who wanted a dance lesson after their first dance!

Maren has such a wonderful and kind spirit; we can see why Theodore is obviously smitten. We are in love with their photos, taken by Caleb Jamin Studios, and couldn't wait to share them with you. Thank you Maren and Theodore for allowing us to be a part of your day!
