We love the way calligraphy can really make an invitation, RSVP card, menu, place card, or thank you gift that much more special.  It makes something more graphic and beautiful to look at, and is an extra touch for your wedding or event!

Wedding Inspirations | Seating Chart

We love this creative seating chart - against a huge backdrop, you could do any variety of colors or patterns, and have as many frames as you need!  The gorgeous calligraphy tops it off!

Seating Charts vs Place cards?

I am a lover of both, but the creative genius at Gourmet Invitations.com has this to say in favor of seating charts and I am inclined to agree with her logic.

I can't begin to tell you how important escort seating is to a successful wedding. Think back to a wedding that you attended where you really didn't know the bride and groom very well (this is a whole other blog!), it is time to find a seat in the reception room - where do you sit? It can be a bit overwhelming and somewhat stressful. You should never want your guests to think like this.




I have asked many people their thoughts on finding a place to sit on their own and it always comes to one conclusion, guests love to be "shown" to their seats. (They do it at most restaurants and we would be upset if the very best restaurants let us seat ourselves!) Escort cards or seating charts help your guests find their seat at your reception. They also let you show off your personal flair and style.
