We held our first Preferred Bridal Show of the season yesterday at the Ames Quality Inn & Suites.  We had a great show with wonderful brides, friends and family visiting with Premier vendors in a relaxed, yet super fun atmosphere.  We gave out lots of prizes, ate some delicious cupcakes from Scratch Cupcakery and sampled yummy goodies from Lidderdale Catering.  All in all, a great day meeting hundreds of Brides planning their weddings.

Bridal Shows can be very exciting times for Brides and Grooms.  Who, What, When and Where can often times be decided in a single visit.  Finding those vendors that think outside the box [we had a company called Urban Storks attend and they were super busy!] are ones that we love to showcase.  A wedding is more than  a cake and a dress.  It is lifestyle, it is introducing personal style and above all, it encompasses the love that you have for each other, friends and family.

Our next show is this Sunday in Iowa City.  We would love to have you join us!

 

Preferred Bridal Shows | Ames

Yesterday was The Preferred Bridal Show in Ames at the Quality Inn & Suites. We had an amazing time with over 350 attendees that braved the chilly weather, some of Iowa's most talented vendors, and gorgeous decor provided by Special Events, LLC and cynwhd b. designs.  Everyone was treated to sinful desserts and beverages from Scratch Cupcakery, Dutch Oven Bakery and  Food Love, Iowa's newest Foodie Company.

Pure Bridal treated us to a gorgeous fashion show.  They even gave one lucky lady a free wedding gown! We are so excited for her and know she will look fabulous on her wedding day!

Wedding Inspirations | Calligraphy

We love the way calligraphy can really make an invitation, RSVP card, menu, place card, or thank you gift that much more special.  It makes something more graphic and beautiful to look at, and is an extra touch for your wedding or event!

Wedding Inspiration | Chalkboard

One of our favorite trends is chalkboard - we had multiple brides who requested it last year, and even more this coming year, and the best part?  They always look different and can be used for just about anything!  Menus, Escort Board, A Photo Booth Background, Signs, Program Info, Directions, Shuttle Times, the possibilities are endless!  Here's a few examples we found recently -

Bridal Show Happenings | Ames, Spring 2013 Show

Our first bridal show of 2013 is already less than a month away!  We have a whopping 10 bridal shows scheduled (so far!) this year, so chances are, we'll be in an area near you!

Preferred Bridal Show | Ames
