2017 Wedding Trends - Part 2

Trends come and go, but we are loving these details that we see more and more at weddings across the country ~

Mis-matched Glassware. We for one love this look and the colors and textures that it adds. Imagine color-coordinating for your event, using Grandma's wedding glasses or staying true to one special era.

Succulent Centerpieces. This is one trend that we don't see stopping any time soon. Combine them with florals, rustic details or in modern vessels. Any way that you use them, they are always a beautiful addition to your wedding tables.

Flower Crowns. Wearing a sweet ring of garden florals among your tresses on your wedding day is a trend that is finally coming into its own. Throwbacks to the 60's and 70's, these halos are adorable ways to add color, texture and personal style. Whether the bride, flower girls or your maids wear them, we think they are perfect for weddings.

Airplanes Overhead

We have been thinking about going somewhere warmer since our nice weather turned all snowy and blizardy. That got us to thinking about planes and where they go. Then, we got to thinking about airplanes and weddings. [Seriously, our brains work like that!]. We had no idea that there were so many couples getting "Up, Up and Away!"   Now we want to do a "Plane Event!"

Spring Flower Love

June 8 | Hydrangea-mania | by Cynthia

One of the most requested flowers that we get asked to use are hydrangea. They are gorgeous to be sure and swoon-worthy when used en-massed! These fluffy, gorgeous florals come in several colors, are large enough to use as filler and are the epitome of romance and elegance. As long as they are kept in a water source, they are good for days. Here are some of our favorite ways to use these beautiful stunners.

Wedding Bling

When you are looking for bling for your wedding, you will have no trouble "blinging" to your heart's content! Just look at the fabulous little gems you can add to make your dream day sparkle.
I found the cutest cupcake jewels that would look adorable at each individual guest place setting. They come from littlethingfavors.com They could even serve as place card holders. Now these are favors with style and if you get your cupcakes from Carefree Patisserie, then they also taste as beautiful as they look!

These necklaces from fabsugar.com would be perfect for your maids. Giving each maid a different color gives them some individuality. Matching a necklace to their dress, gives them some bling that they will love to wear.

Partylite has some beautiful centerpiece ideas. I love the trio affect here as well as the use of sea shells and other elements to create an elegant and chic look that would compliment almost any bride's decor and budget. Fill an inexpensive vase with faux jewels or pearls, add water and a candle. Simple yet elegant.
