DIY Projects | Flour Hearts

Today's DIY posting is ridiculously simple and  one of those "why-didn't-I-think-of-that" kind of project.   Love the hearts for an aisle runner or simple pathway to the Ceremony or Reception.   If you are not into hearts, then your initials, circles, arrows, pretty much anything you can think of will do.

Your guests will love your creativity and the best part - No clean up!  The next rain will wash it away!

DIY Projects | Paper Pomanders

It has been a busy week at our studio with all of the DIY projects.  Today's project is an easy project that your flower girl could help with since this would be such an adorable item for her to carry down the aisle.
These would also be cute to add to your tables, scattering them here and there; favors with guest's names pinned on; or in different colors decorating your candy or dessert buffet.  In short, there is no lack of ideas where to use these at your wedding. Happy crafting!

Finding the unique

Have you visited the website, Etsy lately?

It is a crafter's mecca. You can find anything for any price and in any style. Here is just a sampling of the great wedding ideas I found.

Wedding stickers by Posh Designs. They are perfect for gifts, tags for welcome bags or thank you's on favors.

This ring pillow from SS Creative Designs is beautiful!

These invitations from Samvadiya Cards remind me of Moroccan nights, candles and lots of pillows in a lounge-inspired room that none of your wedding guests would want to leave.

Coffee Paper Roses?

I love crafty brides. You know, those DIY's that inspire us by their never ending cache of ideas. They seem to make something out of nothing, but Coffee Paper Roses? Even for me, that is a new one. Don't get me wrong, these are really neat, but who has this kind of time???

These are really beautiful and a great idea if you wanted to wrap them around your napkins at the reception or have them massed as bouquets on the guest tables. Given that, they could easily match anyone's color scheme. Who would have ever guessed......
