Yes, it is official! The Des Moines Holiday Bridal Show this Sunday!

As you have already surmised, we hit the Bridal Show circuit this year pretty hard.  We are on a quest to meet the greatest, most talented, highly professional and genuinely wonderful Iowa vendors, as well as getting the word out to the state's couples that Iowa is THE state to get married in!
We have two left for the 2013 year and then start all over again for 2014. It is going to be a wonderful New Year, but we have to finish this one up first!
Our Des Moines Holiday Bridal Show is by far one of the most fun to decorate and get ready for.  Who doesn't like a little holiday sparkle and razzle dazzle? Well, we've got it for you!

If the show isn't enough, many of the participating East Village businesses will be open this Sunday, so visiting the show with some shopping afterwards is the perfect Sunday afternoon with your friends and family.  Here are the particulars; don't be late and certainly don't miss coming! 

 

Bridal Show Happenings | Another great show at Jasper Winery!

Yesterday, we hosted the Preferred Bridal Show at Jasper Winery and we are thrilled by the turnout! We had over 300 wonderful guests join us for a fun filled day of yummy treats, awesome prizes and talented Iowa vendors!

We hope that each and every bride connected with at least one vendor to help make their wedding day absolutely perfect! We thank you for coming out to the show and hope you had as wonderful time as we did!

To all of our vendors that came out on such a beautiful Sunday - we thank you for making our jobs so much fun and helping to make this show such a success! A special thank you goes out to Aaron Thomas of Photos by Aaron Thomas for photographing a special stylized shoot after the show. We can not wait to share the lovely photos!

Our next Preferred Bridal Show is Saturday, November 9 at Santa Maria Winery in Carroll, Iowa from 12-3.

We are also hosting The Preferred Bridal Show in Waterloo on Sunday, November 10 from 12-3 at the Elks Lodge. Pure Bridal will also be hosting a bridal trunk show at this show!

Bridal Show Happenings | Jasper Winery

We have been having such a wonderful Fall hosting our Preferred Bridal Shows all over the state! The Iowa City show and Ames shows were hugely successful and a ton of fun! Vendor Spotlight | Scratch Cupcakery

Today, we are showcasing Scratch Cupcakery. Holy buckets are these cupcakes good and they are oh so pretty to look at! Scratch has over 120 cupcakes flavors, three Iowa-based store fronts in Cedar Falls, Waterloo, West Des Moines, and another store in Coralville set to open next month. Scratch Cupcakery is a Preferred Wedding Book Vendor and also a sponsor of this Sunday's Preferred Bridal Show!

Wedding Inspirations | S'mores Bar

With the Jasper Winery Preferred Bridal Show coming up in just a few short days, we can't stop thinking about all the yummy sweets that will be there! Scratch will of course be bringing a delicious selection of their mouth-watering cupcakes and there will also be hot chocolate and wine tastings from Jasper Winery. Food Love will be helping us set up a gourmet s'mores bar that we couldn't be more ecstatic about!

Bridal Show Happenings | Des Moines Spring Preferred Bridal Show

We've been having such a blast this spring with all our Preferred Bridal Shows - we love helping couples put their dream wedding together.  A couple weeks ago we had our annual Des Moines Spring Preferred Bridal Show at the Embassy Suites on the River - we had some of the best vendors in the area, gave away some amazing prizes, and met some amazing brides and grooms!  Here's some photos taken by Katie Lindgren Photography!
