A New Week - a New Bridal Show to get ready for!

We had a great time at Honey Creek Resort State Park yesterday.  The vendors that came were true professionals and we loved visiting with them to learn about what they do and why they love weddings so much!  If you missed the show, no worries!  We have the gang all lined up for you here.

Our next show is at the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque THIS Sunday from Noon - 3 pm.  Dubuque is a great town to visit, so make it a day trip to do a little shopping, a little casino action and visit the show to win great prizes, attend the Pure Bridal Trunk Show with the most amazing fashions! and so much more.  We have your sweet tooth covered with a dessert buffet with Scratch Cupcakery as well as a hot chocolate & cookie bar with Food Love, Iowa's newest foodie company.  If that isn't enough, here is more information.

 

 

Changes can equal great things!

I am sure that you have noticed the lack of postings lately.  We apologize for the bare spots and ask you to bear with us as we are in the middle of some great company changes. 
This past year was one of our largest years ever as well as our most challenging year.  [It is probably never a good idea to start 3 new businesses in less than 9 months!] Where some people see a lack of services, we have always looked at the glass half full and pulled up the bootstraps to "get to work!"  Thus, the three new services that our company now offers.  However, as it is in the entrepreneurial world, new work can pull you in many directions, so while we have been playing catch up this fall, as the colder weather starts to set in we can now tackle those new web sites, blog changes, updates and letting you, our trusted friends, know that we will be entering 2014 with more ideas, great services and a promise to attention to suburb client service.
We know that the wait will be worth it as we introduce new writers, more material for your inspiration and lots of new ideas. We want to stay ahead of the trends and maybe set a few of them ourselves! In the meantime, remember to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Bridal Show Happenings | Honey Creek Resort Moravia

Wedding Inspiration | Taylor Photography

Our first wedding of the season comes from one of our very own Premier Vendors, Taylor Photography.  Randy definitely knows weddings and when he has a fun couple, the pictures are easy.  This Wedding was at Honey Creek Resort, Iowa's Premier Resort State Park.  Honey Creek is located on Lake Rathbun and has a great view over the water, so it makes a great get-a-way for couples and their guests, not mention a perfect place for a ceremony.

The Bride and Groom choose the color pink.  The Bride looks amazing with her boots and beautiful bouquet,  but I have confess, the Groom stole the show with his top hat and a unicycle.  How can you not smile at this couple?

We are heading to 2 bridal shows today.   One is in Newton from 1 - 4 pm.  It is at the Newton Speedway; 3333 Rusty Wallace Dr. Newton, IA.  The other show is at Honey Creek Resort at Lake Rathbun in southern Iowa.  That one starts at 11 and goes through 3 pm.   Each one is different yet fun.
