Wednesday's Details - Blush, Peach and Pink Flowers

Some of the hottest colors in wedding florals for 2013 was blush, peach and barely-there pink.  From the looks of the consultations that we have had for 2014 weddings, this color trio is here to stay for awhile.   I for one love the color combination!  It makes for romantic floral creations both in bouquets and arrangements. The soft palette compliments almost every skin tone and the flower choices are endless.

2013 Trends | Mint To Be

With Spring about to spring, we're looking forward to wedding season!  We've been sharing a few trends that are cropping up, and we're really excited about mint!  Mint goes perfectly with vintage and rustic, and is so soft and sweet.  It can be paired with silver, gold, blush tones, coral ... the list goes on.  We especially love the succulents!  What trends are you seeing?

Real Weddings | The Full Bouquet

I am always looking for inspiration to use for my own events as well as expanding my knowledge with what is out there in the "Wedding World." One can get tunnel vision if left to their own devices at times.  I have always said that I never wanted to be typecast into one particular type of style. It is important to me to know and do different things all the time.  There is so much out there, that the more I know, the more I want to know and do!

There is an incredible florist in the Washington DC area whose business name is The Full Bouquet .  I have been following her work of late and confess that I am a true fan. Her work is incredible!  I am jealous - but in a totally good way! I can't seem to get enough and am so excited to share some of her fabulous creations with you.

The colors of this featured wedding make me long for Spring.  The flowers and textures are beautiful.  The outdoor setting is perfect.   The flower girls were the couple's great nieces and look so sweet in their outfits.  The Escort card table is perfect for a romantic/vintage vibe and since we are starting to offer vintage plates this year in our rentals, the place settings couldn't be more perfect.
