Marbilized Events

We have a thing for marbles. Not the round shooters, but the gorgeous mix of colors that creates a sexy, hodge podge of textured goodness.  Try adding some of these marbleized pieces to your next event.

Wouldn't these be amazing as gift tags?

Bridal Show Updates | We Love Decorating!

We can't lie, we love decorating!  If there is an opportunity to create beauty, fun, the unique or the different, we want to be involved in it!
Here are some pictures from a spring Bridal Show that we were involved with. We had a lot of fun designing a Head Table as well as coordinating Cake Table in elegant black and white.

Details can make a huge difference at any event. The addition of a
black feather reinforces the black and whtie theme as well as
adds a whimsical element to the table setting.

Mirrors are often used at a wedding.  We love them massed as a runner!

Linens make a difference

If you have the budget to splurge on one thing at the reception, make it your linens. The linens that come with most venues (you know--white, barely-covering-the-table, has-seen-better-days linens) don't really convey your style to your guests. Unless the room is dark, most plain white linens really don't help a room to pop or show off your centerpieces that well. A subtle ivory or even a white stripe on white can bring some depth and texture to an otherwise noring set-up.
Choosing a color palette that includes colored linens - whether they be floor length, chair-apron length, or overlays- at your reception just ups the chic factor and really shows that you went the extra mile to make sure that everything tells your wedding story. Even a colored table runner can bring instant pizazz to a plain table.
Don't like your venue's chairs? Chair covers with a colored sash can instantly transform a room. Here are some inspirations for you.
