Linens make a difference

If you have the budget to splurge on one thing at the reception, make it your linens. The linens that come with most venues (you know--white, barely-covering-the-table, has-seen-better-days linens) don't really convey your style to your guests. Unless the room is dark, most plain white linens really don't help a room to pop or show off your centerpieces that well. A subtle ivory or even a white stripe on white can bring some depth and texture to an otherwise noring set-up.

I am finding that some of the most popular colors right now are black and white. You can put anything with them for a pop of color and they certainly make a grand statement.
