We consider keeping up with the latest and greatest in weddings and events our promise to you that we are in the know.   Well, we KNOW that we LOVE all of the various textures and details that we are seeing crop up at weddings all across the country; beading, glittering, crystals, pearls, lace, ruffles, crochet, painting, ribbons, textured layers on patterns, the list goes on. Never has there been a time where there is so much for a bride to choose from.  Whether you choose just one aspect of your wedding to focus on, or want to incorporate layers on top of layers, there is inspiration galore.  We will keep you up to date with them all, but in the meantime, here are some of our favs.

Gorgeous textures equal ruffles, beading, lace, feathers, and more to make unforgettable gowns.

We are seeing bouquets that are getting messier and more beautiful!  Their earthy textures are a welcome alternative from the tightly packed floral spheres that we have been seeing in the past.  Different flowers, everlastings, more greens and trailing goodness; this is one trend that we hope continues.

There is every single type of textured, layered detail going on here to make for one gorgeous coffee station.  Attention to detail such as this will give your guests an experience that they will long remember.  Source

Wedding Inspiration | Glitz & Glitter

We have to admit, when a bride comes to us and says she wants a little glitter at her event, we get a little giddy with excitement!  A small amount glitz and glitter can go a long way - whether it's used for the cake display, the linens for the reception tables, or on the flower girl's dress.  Here's a few ways to incorporate just a little glitz into your next event:

Beautiful Table Settings

A beautiful table setting for your wedding can go a long way to making a big difference to your overall wedding look.  Sitting down to a gorgeously appointed table makes everyone sit up and take notice of all the details and time that you spent time working on.

These tables are not only a joy to look at, but make us hungry for the food that is soon to be served.  We do, after all, eat with our eyes first, so a beautiful table just sets the mood for a great meal!

Linens make such a difference

If you have only one thing to splurge on for your wedding reception, consider splurging on linens. The pop of color or texture can make all the difference in the world when conveying your wedding story to your guests.

Look at what a difference linens make in the following rooms. The centerpieces are neither large or elaborate, yet the entire effect is one of coordinated sophistication, fun and elegance.

We carry beautiful linens customized just for you in any style, any budget and any size. Come see for yourself what a difference a beautiful linen can do for your event.

Linens make a difference

If you have the budget to splurge on one thing at the reception, make it your linens. The linens that come with most venues (you know--white, barely-covering-the-table, has-seen-better-days linens) don't really convey your style to your guests. Unless the room is dark, most plain white linens really don't help a room to pop or show off your centerpieces that well. A subtle ivory or even a white stripe on white can bring some depth and texture to an otherwise noring set-up.
Choosing a color palette that includes colored linens - whether they be floor length, chair-apron length, or overlays- at your reception just ups the chic factor and really shows that you went the extra mile to make sure that everything tells your wedding story. Even a colored table runner can bring instant pizazz to a plain table.
Don't like your venue's chairs? Chair covers with a colored sash can instantly transform a room. Here are some inspirations for you.

Detailing weddings

Designing weddings is what we do best. When we have a bride that comes to us and has no idea what to do, she only knows what she wants, this is where we can provide invaluable help. We can provide advice on what and who, when and where and most of all--how. No matter what the budget, we can do amazing things because we work with amazing vendors.
I think that is one of the best parts about my job that I love. I get to meet and work with amazingly talented vendors--they make my job easier and help me look good! One such vendor is my linen expert--Marlas Linens. Marla knows linens! She has great contacts to locate beautiful linens, knows how to combine them for maximum texture and visibility and knows how to keep them looking impeccable.
